For anyone hoping to order a new system, the answer is effectively yes.
Tesla reportedly told certified third-party installers that they could no longer order Solar Roof tiles. The company instead directed installers toward its standard solar panels.
The website tells a similar story. Tesla removed Solar Roof from its main residential energy lineup, while the old product address now redirects shoppers to Tesla Solar Panels.
At this point, Tesla’s residential solar business centers mostly on:
