Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro: Specs, Price, Pros & Cons
The Qrevo 2 Pro's headline feature is one most robots at its price do not have: it takes the mop off. Before moving onto carpet the robot returns to the dock, drops the entire mopping module, cleans the carpet dry, then collects the mop again afterwards. Lifting pads 15 mm above a rug keeps them out of the fibres; removing them entirely is the only method that guarantees high-pile carpet never gets damp. Roborock notes the behaviour has to be switched on in the app.
Suction is 20,000 Pa on the North American version, and that qualifier matters: Roborock's global site advertises the same model at 25,000 Pa with a hotter wash. The figures on this page are the ones US and Canadian buyers are given.
The brushes are new. The DuoDivide main brush runs two arms of mixed rubber and bristle at slightly different speeds so hair is cut in the gap between them instead of winding around the roller, and the side brush reverses its spin inside corners, which Roborock claims is worth about 30 per cent more corner coverage. The mop is a pair of spinning pads on an arm that extends to within 1.85 mm of the skirting.
Navigation is a PreciSense LiDAR turret, so mapping does not depend on light. Obstacle avoidance, though, is structured light only: there is no camera and no object recognition, which is the clearest difference from Roborock's more expensive machines and much of the reason this one costs less.
The dock washes the mop at up to 65 degrees, dries it with warm air at 45 degrees and 45 decibels, refills the robot's tank, empties into a sealed bag Roborock says lasts about 65 days, and adds a four-minute soak for dried-on stains.
What Roborock does not publish for this model is unusually broad: no battery capacity, no runtime, no bin or tank volumes, and no threshold-climbing figure of any kind.

Editor’s note
I would put the Qrevo 2 Pro in front of anyone whose home is half hard floor and half carpet, because that is the problem auto mop removal actually solves. Every mopping robot claims to handle mixed floors; most do it by lifting the pads a centimetre and hoping. Taking the module off at the dock is the version that works, and until recently it was a flagship-only feature.
Turn it on first. Roborock ships the behaviour disabled, so out of the box the machine does what every other robot does, and the reason you bought it sits unused in a menu.
The gap to understand before buying is obstacle avoidance. Structured light sees shapes but does not recognise them, so this robot will route around a shoe without knowing whether it is a cable, a sock or a pet accident. If your floors are tidy before it runs, that is fine; if it has to cope with a lived-in floor, the models with cameras earn their premium.
Two smaller notes. The suction rating differs by region – the North American unit is rated below the global one – so a review quoting the higher number may not describe the machine you receive. And Roborock publishes no runtime, battery or bin capacity for this model, and its own product page currently links the wrong user manual, so several rows here are empty because the information does not exist rather than because we did not look.
Against the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow, this is the drier-carpet option and that one is the better mopper, with a self-washing roller and a hotter dock. Against the Qrevo Master, you trade camera obstacle recognition for double the suction and the removable mop.
