ECOVACS DEEBOT X12S OmniCyclone: Specs, Price, Pros & Cons
The X12S OmniCyclone is ECOVACS's current bagless flagship, launched in the US in late August 2026, and the two things it does differently from the X11 generation are both about the mop. The OZMO Roller 3.0 is a 10.6-inch roller, half again as long as before, pressed onto the floor at 4,000 Pa and spun at 220 rpm while 32 nozzles rinse it with fresh water continuously; and FocusJet pre-sprays water and solution onto a dried stain and lets it soak for 15 to 30 seconds before the roller reaches it. Together they are aimed at the kitchen-floor problem that pad mops smear rather than lift.
ECOVACS rates the blower at 53 air watts, more than 60 percent above the previous generation, and quotes 27,000 Pa on its own Amazon listing; ZeroTangle 4.0 uses lateral airflow to keep hair off the main brush, and TruEdge 3.0 extends the roller 26 mm toward walls. On carpet the roller lifts 15 mm under a drop-down cover. The four-wheel chassis clears a 25 mm single step and up to 40 mm where a threshold is split in two, and AIVI 3D 4.0 handles obstacle recognition and carpet protection from a camera module; ECOVACS does not say which ranging sensor it uses, so the navigation row below is empty.
The OmniCyclone station is the reason to choose this model over the bagged PRO Omni: a cyclone separates dust into a canister, saving, by ECOVACS's count, about 25 bags over five years. It washes the roller in 100-degree water with a high-pressure tray rinse, doses a heavy-duty solution, cleans its own dirty-water box and dries the air path; the listing adds 63-degree hot-air drying and 60.2 dB in operation. PowerBoost Charging Plus recovers 13 percent of the battery during a three-minute wash, which ECOVACS calls a perpetual run in standard mode, with 200 minutes quoted on the listing. The robot is 98 mm tall and 353 mm across; the station is 380 x 493 x 465 mm. Agent YIKO 3.0 plans weekly cleaning by voice, and the ECOVACS Home app handles maps, zones and schedules.
ECOVACS has not yet published a specification table or manual, so battery capacity, tank volumes and filter grade are unrecorded.

Editor’s note
I would recommend the X12S OmniCyclone to a household whose floors actually get dirty – a kitchen with kids, a hallway with a dog – rather than one that wants a robot to keep clean floors clean. The wider roller, the downward pressure and the stain pre-spray are all answers to dried-on mess, and on a floor that only ever sees dust they are capability you pay for and never use. For that household the X11S OmniCyclone, one generation back on the same body, does the job for less.
In use, the bagless station needs an honest word. Emptying a cyclone canister is a small dust cloud every couple of weeks, and for anyone with dust allergies a bagged dock is the better choice regardless of the maths on bag costs. The station is also big – roughly 38 by 49 by 47 cm – and needs a wall, a socket and clearance in front.
The spec sheet is the caveat I would put in front of any buyer this month. ECOVACS launched the product without a specification table or a manual; the figures on this page come from its product copy and its own Amazon listing, and battery capacity, tank sizes and the navigation sensor are simply not stated anywhere yet. A flagship at this price should come with those numbers, and until ECOVACS publishes them, some of what you are buying is trust.
The climb figures are worth reading correctly: 25 mm is what it clears in one step, and 40 mm needs a threshold with two edges, which most door saddles do not have. The 100-degree wash is the best in this catalogue for keeping a roller from smelling, and the perpetual-run claim is a charging trick that works in practice on standard mode, not a bigger battery.
Against the Narwal Flow, this is a wider roller with pre-spray and a bagless dock versus a taller dock and a slightly higher single-step climb. Against the X11S, it is the same body with a better mop and a blank spec sheet. Buy it for the mop; wait for the manual if numbers matter to you.
