The Amazon listing for the Levoit Vital 100S-P says it covers up to 1,073 square feet, and Levoit's own page says 1,066. Both numbers describe one full air change per hour, which is a slow rate for anyone buying a purifier because of allergies, a pet or wildfire smoke. The smaller figure Levoit prints next to it, for 4.8 air changes an hour, is the one that tells you which room this machine belongs in.
That makes the Vital 100S-P a bedroom or home-office purifier. It is the smaller of Levoit's two rectangular Vital models, sitting under the Vital 200S, and it competes with Levoit's own round Core 300S and with the Blueair Blue Pure 511i Max.
Nobody at this site ran the unit. Specifications come from Levoit's product page and the Vital 100S-P manual, and performance figures come from HouseFresh, which bought a Vital 100S and published its clean-air, noise and power measurements. The model number on Levoit's page, LAP-V102S, is the same one HouseFresh tested under the older Vital 100S name, and the dimensions match.
For most people with a room of up to about 220 square feet, it is a sensible pick with low running power and a quiet bottom speed. People trying to clean a living room or an open-plan space should buy something larger.
