Roborock Saros 10R vs MOVA P50 Pro Ultra

Both are flagship robots with self-washing docks and hot-water mop cleaning, and they diverge on the two things that decide daily life with a robot vacuum: height and noise.

The Saros 10R is markedly lower - 80 millimetres against 105 - so it gets under sofas and beds that stop most robots, and its threshold clearance is twice the MOVA's, which matters in homes with door tracks and rugs. It also carries the larger battery, the higher suction rating, the higher mop lift, and hotter mop washing and drying. Its cost is noise: it is rated several decibels louder than the MOVA, which is audible in a small flat.

The P50 Pro Ultra is the quieter machine and the one with a four-litre clean-water tank on board the dock rather than a small reservoir, which means fewer refills between cleans. It has a slightly larger dustbin. It is taller, clears lower thresholds, and lifts its mop less high, so on a deep-pile carpet it is more likely to leave a damp edge.

Both wash and dry their mops with warm water and warm air, both dispense detergent automatically, and both use anti-tangle brushes, so the maintenance experience is similar; the Roborock's parameters are simply a little more aggressive.

The choice, then, is the floor plan. A home with low furniture, raised thresholds and rugs wants the Saros for its height and clearance and will tolerate the noise. A flat where the robot runs while people are in the room, with fewer obstacles and a preference for refilling less often, wants the MOVA. Neither is a bad robot; one of them is wrong for a given home.

Key real-world differences

The spec sheet pulls in both directions. These are the gaps big enough to shape the decision — with the actual figures, and what each one means in real-world use.

  1. Water tankDesign
69 ml vs 4,000 ml — 58× more for the MOVA P50 Pro Ultra

The onboard clean-water capacity for mopping.

  2. Threshold clearanceNavigation
38 mm vs 19 mm — 2× more for the Roborock Saros 10R

The tallest doorway lip or threshold the robot can climb.

  3. HeightDesign
80 mm vs 105 mm — 24% less for the Roborock Saros 10R

A lower profile fits under more furniture; lower is better.

  4. Battery capacityBattery & dock
6,400 mAh vs 5,200 mAh — 19% more for the Roborock Saros 10R

A larger battery runs longer between charges.

Capacity is a proxy, not a promise — display, chip efficiency and software decide how long a charge really lasts.

  5. Suction powerCleaning
20,000 Pa vs 19,000 Pa — 5% more for the Roborock Saros 10R

Higher suction lifts more dirt from carpets and hard floors.

On paper this is a win, but a gap this small is unlikely to be noticeable in daily use.
