The X50 Ultra washes its mop at 80°C, the hottest figure in this catalogue, and that is a more meaningful specification than it first appears.

The reason mopping robots develop a smell is not the floor — it is the pad, washed in tepid water and left damp in a warm dock. 80°C washing followed by hot-air drying is the combination that actually prevents it, and it is the difference between a machine you keep using and one that quietly gets switched off after a few months.

The rest is flagship throughout: 20,000 Pa of suction, 42 mm of single-step threshold clearance (60 mm across two steps) so raised door saddles and thick rug edges do not stop it, dual spinning pads with a 10.5 mm lift, automatic detergent dosing, dirt detection that re-mops a dirty patch, and an extending edge arm for corners. The dock removes the mop pads by itself when the machine moves to carpet.

At 89 mm with its LiDAR module retracted it is lower than most of its direct rivals, which widens the range of furniture it can clean under, and a 6,400 mAh battery gives 220 minutes with a 395 ml bin — the largest here.

Navigation is Dreame's VersaLift dToF LiDAR, which retracts into the body to keep it low, with an RGB camera and structured light for obstacles and LED lights for dim rooms.

Buy it if mopping is the main job and you want the machine to stay hygienic on its own. Buy the Saros 10R if you need an 80 mm body without a module that has to retract.
