MOVA's base station stores three different pairs of mop pads and swaps them automatically, so the robot can use a heat-retaining pad on one floor type and something else on another without you kneeling down. MOVA calls it a first, and I have not found anyone else doing it.
Around that sits a properly specified flagship: retractable LiDAR so the robot fits under low furniture, chassis-lifting legs for thresholds up to 50 mm, hot-water mop washing, hot-air drying, automatic detergent dosing and automatic mop detachment. On the spec sheet it matches machines costing more.
The thing to know before buying, and it is a real one: the station has an automatic water inlet, and MOVA's manual says the hookup kit "needs to be purchased separately (only available in specific regions)". A verified buyer reports being told by MOVA support that the kit is not sold in the USA — after paying to prepare the plumbing. If a plumbed-in, genuinely hands-off dock is why you are looking at this, confirm availability before you spend anything.
Two smaller caveats. The tower is large at 42 by 47 by 59 cm, which is a lot of utility-room floor. And MOVA does not publish runtime or coverage figures, so sizing it to a big house means guessing.
At $999 against a $1,299 list, it sits just under true flagship money while offering the flagship checklist plus a swap system nobody else has. It earns that premium in a genuinely mixed-flooring home. In a flat with one floor type, the MopSwap Hub is an expensive answer to a question you do not have.
