59.4 g in a 125 mm ambidextrous shell is the balance point: light enough that direction changes cost no effort, heavy enough to stay controlled during fine adjustment. Unusually for a competitive mouse, the shape works for palm, claw and fingertip grips rather than forcing one.
The HERO 2 sensor runs to 44,000 DPI with 888 IPS tracking and 8,000 Hz polling over the wireless link — figures that put the sensor beyond being a limiting factor. The LIGHTFORCE switches are hybrid optical-mechanical: they feel like a mechanical click but actuate optically, so they cannot develop the double-click fault that worn contacts produce. The feet are zero-additive PTFE.
It supports wireless charging, so with a compatible mat it need never be plugged in — a real convenience given the 95-hour battery, which is the usual price of 8 kHz polling.
Five buttons, no RGB, no horizontal scrolling. Nothing is included that does not help you aim.
Buy it if you want the safest possible choice in a competitive mouse — the shape suits more hands than most and the specification has no weak point. Buy something lighter only if you have already established that weight is what limits you.
