Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2: Specs, Price, Pros & Cons
The PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 weighs 60 g and has five buttons, two of them on the left side. Logitech launched it in 2023 as the follow-up to the original PRO X SUPERLIGHT, and its 125 mm shell now also carries the PRO X SUPERSTRIKE mice.
Under the main buttons are LIGHTFORCE switches, which Logitech calls hybrid optical-mechanical. In Logitech's words, they pair the speed of an optical switch with the click of a traditional microswitch. The actuation point is set at the factory and cannot be moved.
The HERO 2 sensor is rated above 888 IPS and 88 G, and Logitech notes that it measured both on its own G640 pad. In G HUB you can set sensitivity separately for the X and Y axes. You can also set the lift-off distance, the height at which the sensor stops tracking when you pick the mouse up. Logitech suggests matching it to your grip and the way you move.
The LIGHTSPEED receiver carries up to 8,000 Hz once G HUB is installed. An extension adapter in the box lets the receiver sit on the desk near the mouse. Logitech rates the battery at 95 hours of constant motion, and it charges over USB-C or, without a cable, on a POWERPLAY mat sold separately. The requirements are Windows 10 or later and a USB 2.0 port, and the box adds optional grip tape and a spare aperture door with its own PTFE foot.

Editor’s note
The X3 SUPERSTRIKE, in stores since October 6, uses this exact shell with Logitech's haptic inductive click, whose actuation point moves in G HUB. The SUPERLIGHT 2 stays the simpler mouse. Its hybrid switch has a fixed click, and Logitech rates it for 70 million clicks.
Logitech names claw and fingertip grips for this shape and steers palm grips toward its ergonomic mice.
At two hours a night, one charge lasts close to seven weeks, though Logitech does not say which report rate that battery figure assumes. Razer, for comparison, lists the Viper V3 Pro's battery life separately for each polling rate. A POWERPLAY mat removes the question, because the mouse charges while you use it.
Logitech's US store still shows 32,000 DPI in its spec table, although the support specification for model MR0097 and the same page's feature text give 44,000. The Amazon listing uses the newer figure.
