Roborock Saros 10R: Specs, Features, Pros & Cons

The Saros 10R is the most completely resolved machine in this catalogue, because it is the only one that is both very low and very capable.

Robot vacuums normally force a choice. Slim machines fit under furniture but carry small batteries and modest hardware; powerful ones are 100 mm or more and are stopped by the sofa. This one is 80 mm tall — the lowest here — and still manages 20,000 Pa of suction, up to 4 cm across double-layer thresholds with its lifting chassis, and a 17 mm mop lift. It gets under the furniture, climbs the door saddle, and lifts clear of medium-pile carpet.

The dock is equally complete: it empties the bin, refills the water, dispenses detergent, washes the pads at 80°C and dries them with 55°C air, and removes the mop pads automatically when the machine goes to vacuum carpet. Dirt detection sends it back over anything that comes up dirty.

Navigation is StarSight, a solid-state dToF LiDAR with no spinning turret — which is how the body stays this low — with an RGB camera and an LED fill light for obstacle recognition; Roborock lists night operation among its strengths.

Roborock quotes a 6,400 mAh battery and 2.5-hour charging but publishes no runtime figure, at a quoted 65 dB.

Buy it if you want one machine that handles low furniture, raised thresholds, carpet and hard floor without compromise. Buy a cheaper turret-LiDAR model if you do not need the low body or the climbing.
