ECOVACS DEEBOT T90 Pro Omni: Specs, Features, Pros & Cons

There are two schools of robot mopping, and this machine belongs to the smaller one. Instead of a pair of pads spinning against the floor, it uses a single microfibre roller that turns continuously and is scraped and rinsed as it goes. The distinction matters more than the marketing suggests: a roller spreads less dirty water around and handles a large flat floor tidily, while spinning pads apply more concentrated pressure and are usually preferred for grout and dried-on marks.

The second design decision is height. This is a low machine by flagship standards, and it gets there by dropping the laser turret most navigating robots wear on top in favor of a smaller sensor set into the body. That is a practical advantage, because the furniture a robot cannot fit under is the furniture that stays dusty, and low bed frames and modern sofas defeat a lot of otherwise capable machines.

Around those two choices sits the dock you would expect at this level. It empties the bin, refills the tank, washes and dries the mop and doses detergent without being asked, which is the difference between a robot you maintain weekly and one you maintain monthly.

The limitation to weigh before buying is endurance. The battery here is smaller than most of its direct rivals carry, and the quoted running time reflects that. In an apartment or a medium house it will finish in one pass. In a large open-plan home it will dock, charge and resume, which works but turns an hour into an afternoon. If the floor plan is big, that is the row to check rather than the suction figure at the top of the listing.

Where the ECOVACS DEEBOT T90 Pro Omni beats the median

  • Much stronger suction ?30,000 Pa vs 19,750 Pa (median)
  • A much larger cleaning area ?400 m² vs 226 m² (median)
  • A higher mop lift ?15 mm vs 10.5 mm (median)
  • A slightly more compact design ?95 mm vs 96.8 mm (median)
How this VS Score was computed

Score 65: each known spec is measured against the median of all robot vacuums (58 products), then weighted; 50 means level with that median. In classes of six or more, a value beyond the class’s 10th–90th percentile range counts as that limit, so one extreme product cannot set the scale. 52% of the scoreable weight could be used; unknown values, features not applicable to this class and proxies (battery capacity where a rated life exists) add or remove nothing.

Editor’s note

The headline on the T90 Pro Omni is 30,000 Pa of suction, and past a certain point that number is marketing arithmetic. What matters more is the engine behind it: ECOVACS quotes 16 liters per second of airflow, which is the figure that moves debris, and a floating main brush with an anti-tangle side brush. On the spec sheet it is one of the strongest vacuums in this category.

The mop is a single microfiber roller, and the dock does the work: it washes the roller in warm water, dries it with hot air, refills from a four-liter clean tank, empties the bin into a 2.5-liter bag and doses detergent automatically. ECOVACS rates the mopping range at 400 square meters per tank. The roller lifts 15 mm over carpet, and ultrasonic carpet detection decides when. Obstacle avoidance combines structured light with an RGB camera, and navigation is a mini-ToF sensor embedded in a body only 95 mm tall, which is the practical win here: it fits under furniture that defeats most LiDAR-turret robots.

The limitation I would weigh is runtime. ECOVACS quotes 120 minutes in standard mode on hard floor from a 4,000 mAh cell, which is modest for a flagship. The 350-minute figure in its table is for a deep-wash cycle with recharges and says nothing about one run. In a large home it will return to the dock mid-clean, and it does resume, but a 200-minute rival covers more floor per sitting. Standard-mode noise is 60 dBA, which is quiet for the power.

If you have low furniture and want a roller-mop robot with a complete dock, this is a strong pick. In a large, open house, look at the battery first.

The bottom line

The ECOVACS DEEBOT T90 Pro Omni earns a VS Score of 65, above the median of the 58 robot vacuums it is measured against (a score of 50 is level with that median).

Who it’s for
Homes with low sofas and beds where a low-slung body matters, and buyers who want a roller mop with a dock that washes, dries, refills and doses detergent without being asked.
Who should look elsewhere
Large open-plan homes: the small cell's quoted standard-mode runtime means it will dock mid-clean. Also not for anyone who prefers spinning-pad mops for scrubbing grout.
The trade-off that matters
Flagship-level suction and airflow in a very low body, against a modest single-charge runtime and a roller-mop design that some prefer less than dual spinning pads.
The main alternative
ECOVACS DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI: the roller-mop sibling one tier up, if you want the same mopping approach with a larger battery. A Roborock Qrevo Curv suits anyone who would rather have dual spinning mops.
