Text renders without any visible pixel structure at desk distance, which is the single biggest quality-of-life difference for anyone who reads or writes for a living. Nearly every other 5K monitor stops at 60 Hz, so pairing that density with 165 Hz and G-Sync Compatible variable refresh is genuinely unusual.
It is not an OLED, and here that is a deliberate advantage. The mini-LED backlight has local dimming and reaches 1,000 nits with DisplayHDR 1000 certification, so HDR has real impact — while a static taskbar can sit on screen for years without any retention risk.
