The G305 X SUPERLIGHT is Logitech’s attempt to bring the low-weight philosophy of its premium esports mice into a more accessible model. At roughly 59 grams, it is much easier to start and stop than the battery-powered original G305, while the familiar compact shape remains friendly to claw and fingertip grip. The HERO 44K sensor is far beyond what ordinary play requires, but its real value is dependable tracking and efficient wireless operation.
Connectivity is unusually flexible for a performance mouse: LIGHTSPEED 2.4 GHz for gaming, Bluetooth for a second device, and wired USB-C when charging. The included receiver operates at 1,000 Hz; Logitech advertises higher rates with a separately sold compatible receiver, so buyers should not assume 8,000 Hz is available out of the box. The built-in battery lasts up to 130 hours under stated conditions, and a short charge can cover an evening of play.
The compact shell is the main fit question. Large hands seeking a full palm grip may find it short and narrow, and the symmetrical body is not a truly left-handed design because the side buttons remain on the left.
